Full Metal Panic! Another Light Novel And Manga Volumes

So there is this thing called Full Metal Panic! Another. What is it? A spinoff light novel series set in the same universe as FMP, 11 years after the events of the final book in the original Full Metal Panic! light novel series. What is a light novel? It's a style of Japanese novel primarily targeting middle and high school students (as wikipedia would say).

FP!A is written by Naoto Ooguro with some help of Shoji Gatoh, creator and author of FMP. As with the original Full Metal Panic! light novel series, illustrations are done by Shiki Douji.

There has been one known attempt by the Baka-Tsuki Translation Community to fan translate FP!A (the official abbreviation for Full Metal Panic! Another) to english, but so far they didn't live up to their promise.

However, the events of Full Metal Panic! Another are not completely unknown. Over the past years, users of the animesuki FMP! board have gathered a buch of spoilers that should give you a pretty good idea, what FP!A is about and where it's headed.

The cover art for the upcoming fifth volume in the Full Metal Panic! Another Manga adaptation by You Taichi can now be found on amazon.co.jp and other sites. Just like with the first four FP!A Manga volumes Adelina Aleksandrovna Kerenskaya is featured, this time with a Blaze Raven Unit 2 in the background. The volume is set to be released in Japan on December 7 and is likely to include at least 4 new chapters on around 200 pages.

As promised, we scanned the four individual cover arts from the Full Metal Panic! All Stories Blu-Ray Box in high resolution. After getting the neccessary equipment ready, each of them was scanned in 1200 dpi. Although up to 4800 dpi is technically possible with our current device, the resulting scans become rather impractical due to traces from the printing process getting highly visible.
